Breezer was our first Malamute, and an easy introduction into the breed. She had wonderful temperament and was a loving, happy girl. A little “talkative” at times, but we didn’t mind as she had the loveliest voice.
Breezer was an excellent worker and enjoyed running in harness, especially in the big teams when with all her buddies. She also loved her backpacking trips, although she would prefer to eat her treats straight away rather than have to carry them and wait!
Her real passion though was obedience work. Right from an early age she took to it. She competed at Pre-beginners level with a 3 rd (out of 27) being her highest placing. Not bad when competing against Border Collies and German Shepherds!
Breezer was shown lightly (it’s wasn't her favourite pastime, as she found it too boring!), but still had good results. They included Multi BOS, RBOS, and class wins at championship show level, plus multiple class wins at open show level.
We would like to thank Kay and John Botterill at Cinneli for our wonderful girl.
Breezer was diagnosed with hypothyrodism in March 2012
She died of bone cancer in February 2014
Always in our hearts, our beautiful girl.
